The Nail Lamp - Lamp for Nails Extension and Gel Polish

Discover what is a Nail Lamp and the Main Differences between the 2 types of Lamp.

The Nail Lamp can be distinguished in 2 types: UV Lamp and LED Lamp;

What is the Difference between the two Nail Lamps?

  • The Catalysis Times;
  • The presence of Bulbs or not;

Catalysis Times of UV-LED Nail Lamp:

The main advantage that the last Led Lamps offer is certainly the Reduction of the Time of Catalysis of the Product. In fact, with a Led Lamp we will be able to reduce for almost the half the time employed by the simple UV Lamp to obtain the complete catalysation.

What do the Bulbs do and what does the Led Lamp use?

The UV Lamp, for example, has the Bulb for the UV Lamp which allows our Lamp to catalyse the Gel Nails Colors or any type of Gel Nail Polish. Instead, the LED Lamp does not have Bulbs but Diodes that do not require a constant replacement and offer a considerably greater Duration of Use compared to the UV Lamp.

Which other Aspects do we have to Consider?

Certainly the Power in Watts because it will influence the performances and the cost, more watts our Lamp has, more and better Performances.

Did you know that....

UV and Led Lamp Both Release UV Rays thanks to their special bulbs and diodes, fundamental for the activation of the catalysation (or polymerisation) process which allows all the UV Gel to dry and effectively fix on the nail surface.
