The Cuticle is a thickening of the skin, placed in contact with the Nail Plate.
By adhering to the surface of the nail, the function of this dead and colourless tissue - is to protect the matrix, creating a real barrier capable of preventing the passage of bacteria, powders and other microorganisms which may endanger the health and growth of the nail.
