We can immediately start by saying that not all the Companies and not all the Expert Nail Technicians have a phase of Gel Filing in their Working procedures!

But let's see together the reasons why, according to our Working Method, it is necessary to File the Gel Nails...and we start from the Bead, a fundamental element to be able to judge a suitable Gel Nail Extension!
As we know, after having Applied and Catalyzed in Lamp our Builder Gel to create the Bead, and therefore the fundamental Structure of our Work, it is very important to verify and judge the obtained shape, so that to be able to proceed with a careful Filing which allows us to perfect the Shape of the Extended Nail, both for aesthetic that technical reasons: a suitable Bead, in fact, will ensure to our work the optimal endurance!
Already from this first Phase of our Work, therefore, our Advice is to Work on the Bead removing any unaesthetic excess of Gel (as in the Photo Above).
To guarantee a really Natural Shape to our Extended Nail, thereby avoiding unaesthetic and fake effects, we will proceed with two different Filing Steps.
With the aid of a Straight Nail File we work on the Extended Nail Walls (on the external sides of the Nail) and on its frontal side, refining our work, leaving nothing to chance!
Obviously, always remember to proceed using with Professional Working Tools and with gentle movements, to avoid damaging the work carried out so far and always ensuring to our Customers the maximum hygiene and safety.
Once concluded this Step, we proceed by working on the Bead with the aid of a Curved Nail File Zebra and, thanks to it, we will be able to perfect, shape and complete the Nail shape with precision and safety...until we will be completely satisfied of the result obtained!
But in addition to the "traditional" Filing with Professional Nail Files, it is important learning to know and use also other working tools...such as the Nail Buffer!
Thi particular product, in fact, is a fundamental ally in various Steps of our Work, and it can be very useful also during a Nails Extension!
Our advice, in fact, is to always use the Nail Buffer to refine each detail with particular care, thus removing the potential remains of a Filing that could compromise or make inaccurate the following Steps of our Work.
A special reference, instead, needs to be made for another very valuable Working Tool: the Nail Drill! This useful Professional Tool, in fact, is used not only during the Steps of Gel Removal, but it is increasingly appreciated also during the Steps of realisation of our Gel Nails Extension.

The Nail Drill, in fact, can be used also to refine and "clean" our Work also frontally, eliminating filing remains and giving to our Extended Nails a natural and perfect frontal vision!
Obviously our first Advice is to resort to the use of the Nail Drill only if you are really capable of using it: knowing accurately this Working Tool and having a considerable practicality is fundamental to avoid problems and damages!

But our reasons and advices about the Filing of the Gel do not end here...
There are, in fact, small involuntary "incidents" that can happen to all of us and our Customers, that will force us to File our Gel Nails to immediately remedy and to ensure, also in these cases, a professional and satisfying finish!
Let's think, for example, about all the times that we accidentally bumped our Nail into the Lamp, precisely while putting the hand in for the Gel Catalysis step...No Panic: it will be sufficient to proceed then with a careful Filing to remedy to the problem!
To many of you, instead, maybe often happened to place the Hand in a not suitable way inside the Lamp!
Often, it is sufficient a little distraction for our Customers to tilt the Hand - that should always be straight and stretched, once inserted in the UV or Led Lamp - thus causing a lateral "casting" of the Gel just applied...damaging the shape of our Bead!
Also in this case, if the damage is not excessive, it will be sufficient to File the Gel Nails once Catalysed, thus modeling again the shape of the Extended Nail.
But, once concluded the Catalysis Phase, the result might not be like that showed in the Photo here Next to: the Gel Poured off and our Bead visibly flattened!
In the most "serious" cases as it, our Advice is to proceed with a New Application of the Builder Gel to create again a suitable Bead and Structure for our Nail!
