Between the most widespread Nail Diseases the Foot Fungus - technically Onychomycosis that is Nail Fungus - is one of the most common and annoying!
Often, as we have already told in a deepening of our Manicure and Pedicure Blog, Toe Nails Fungus is recognised late or totally neglected, due in part for the embrassment to ask for help to your Beautician in recognising the problem.
Actually, the Onychomycosis is a disease that affects many women and, even more, the Toe Nails Fungus!
The "responsibles" of Toe Nails Mycosis are Fungus or often also yeasts and mildews.
It is therefore about microorganisms that proliferate especially in humid and warm environments, and this is why Feet - which are for the most part of time covered and closed in our footwear - are often the ideal place for the origin of this type of problem!
We have repeatedly said that the wellness and health of our Feet is essential for the well-being of all our body... also for this reason, recognising in a prompt way the beginning of a Toe Nails Fungus is important, in order to be able to take care of it immediately and in a proper way!
That’s why our advice is to devote the necessary attention to our Feet with Constant and Professional Pedicures, and learning to observe and get to know the features of our Feet and our Nails!
One of the first visible warnings is a disparity of the Colour of the Nail: the Nail, in fact, can appear darker or yellowed (as in the example image shown here beside), or reveal a clear whitish stain.
In all these cases, it will be appropriate to consult a doctor who can evaluate the effective presence of a Toe Nails Fungus and, in this way, provide the medical therapy that is most adeguate!
But it often happens that one of the most evident signals of the presence of Toe Nails Fungus is not only a visible change of the natural colour of the Nail but also of its appearance in terms of form and solidity!
Thus here we are faced with cases in which the Nail appears extremely fragile or even "friable" (therefore which tend to easily flake) or, in other cases, even thickened, deformed or indented: all these changes must lead us to suspect the origin of an Onychomycosis!
It is therefore about warnings that characterise the Onychomycosis and that modify the shape and the natural colour of the Healthy Nail!
The importance of an effective and focused care (of a medical competence, as we have repeatedly emphasised) is crucial to be able to control and solve the problem before it aggravates, by going to affect the entire Nail, the cutaneous tissue (the area of the cuticles) or the tissue below the nail surface!
Remember, in fact, that if the Mycosis (neglected for a long time) goes to affect the area of the Nail Matrix, the risk is to lose it!
In the picture here next we show you another case, that is one in which the contaminated Nail is visibly lifted and detached from its Nail bed!
In this case, our customer had attempted to cut the raised part, but actually this not only wouldn’t have solved the problem but would have risked to aggravate it.
If the nail, in fact, is wrongly cut there is the risk to have other problems (such as ingrown nail, for example)!
Of course, our advice also in cases such as these is to ask immediately for a consultation to your Doctor or your Dermatologist so that you can intervene with the most appropriate care and to avoid improvised solutions like this!
As we have seen, the Toe Nails Fungus is an issue that affects most frequently Toe Nails, because of moisture and warm temperature which is created in our shoes...more rarely instead Onychomycosis concerns the Hands Nails.
Although very rarely, it is still possible to happen: even in cases of Finger Nails Fungus the Pics Nails Advice is to contact a Doctor as soon as possible!
Let’s think of how important are our Hands in our working activities and not only ... Every day we use them for endless reasons!
Just like it happens with Feet, taking care of the Health and the Aesthetic of the Hands is essential for our wellness and for our safety!
